How Special-Lite SL-16 met special needs at the Capstone

When you have a classic, venerable landmark that needs a new entrance, you may not want to install a sleek, modern doorway. But getting a good match for the previous doors can be a problem.

Because every Special-Lite door is custom made, you can get a door that looks exactly the way it needs to. You need arches? No sweat. Unequal pairs? Dutch doors? Piece o' cake. You can get SL-16 Aluminum Flush Doors up to 48" wide and 120" high. The aluminum panels can be fabricated with matching face sheet materials so that you get perfectly coordinated entrances.

The University of Alabama, which has a lot of classic buildings with historic value, has made excellent use of the SL-16 doors. Here are photos of several of them, installed by my friends at Sunbelt Glass.
